In September, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk confirmed that the Russians are building some kind of protective structure in the area of ​​the Kerch Bridge, noting that they are unlikely to have time to do this before the storm season begins.

He then said that periodically such structures end up on the shore after another storms.
