The SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office are investigating the dissemination of a video on social networks showing the beheading of, presumably, a Ukrainian soldier.

This is stated in a statement by the prosecutor's office.

Thus, on August 16, a video appeared on social networks in which Russian military personnel demonstrate the head of an alleged Ukrainian soldier, impaled on a circle. According to the Deep State analytical project, the scene of the war crime is the Kolotilovka checkpoint in the Belgorod region. The crime probably involved military personnel from the 155th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

Now law enforcement officers are checking this information and the circumstances surrounding it.

— The distribution of such a video by representatives of the Russian Federation once again confirms their complete disregard for the norms and principles of international humanitarian law, Ukrainian prosecutors note.

Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
