The annual summit of the Group of Seven (G7) leaders is expected in Italy, which is scheduled from June 13 to 15. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky was invited to the event as a guest.
A number of important issues are planned to be considered at the G7 summit in Italy. Among them — the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the use of income from frozen Russian assets, which will be used for the restoration of Ukraine.
Where will the G7
summit take place?

Journalists call this place a secluded oasis because the hotel is located away from the public, media representatives and possible protesters. Two international airports and a high-speed train station are nearby.
In the city of Bari, located 80 km from the summit site, there is a media center where they plan to accommodate correspondents.
Who will take part in the G7 summit
The Group of Seven (G7) includes countries with the largest economies in the world. Among them — USA, Japan, Canada, Germany, France, Italy and UK.
The Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission will participate in all discussions as representatives of the European Union.
Italy is hosting the summit, so it invites guests from other countries to participate. This year, Pope Francis, the King of Jordan, the leaders of Ukraine, India, Brazil, Argentina, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Algeria and Mauritania, which is the head of the African Union, will come there.
The UN Secretary-General, the heads of the World Bank, the IMF, the African Development Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development will be present at the G7 summit.
What issues are on the agenda
The summit will begin at 11:00 local time with a discussion on Africa, climate change and economic development.
Then the G7 summit participants will discuss issues in the Middle East. But after this, two sessions will begin dedicated to Russia’s war against Ukraine. The first will take place with the participation of President Vladimir Zelensky.
The second day of the summit will focus on immigration, the Indo-Pacific region and economic security. Pope Francis will devote attention to artificial intelligence, and there will also be conversations with partners about the Mediterranean, energy and Africa.
Countries plan to pay significant attention to whether G7 leaders will be able to reach agreement on the use of proceeds from frozen Russian assets, which could be used for the restoration of Ukraine.
At the same time, US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit.
China's excess industrial capacity will also be affected. Kyiv's allies accuse Beijing of providing Russia with technology and parts, particularly those found in weapons or needed to create them.
This allows Moscow to bypass G7 trade restrictions. Prohibited goods or components often enter Russia through third countries such as China and Turkey, or through intermediary networks.
When the G7 summit ends
According to official information, the G7 summit will last until June 15. But it became known that US President Joe Biden is flying to the event on the night of June 14.
Right now the only official thing on June 15th is a final press conference by Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni, as well as a series of bilateral meetings for the leaders, who will remain at the Borgo Egnazia Hotel until the official close.
