Stefanchuk about politicians who fled the war/rada.gov. ua

Head of the Ukrainian Parliament of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk condemned those politicians who, in the very first days, fled from Ukraine to the territory of Russia or to another country.

Stefanchuk assured that the last month has dotted the self-determination of many within Ukraine.

“Pro-Russian hawks” who have been dressed in “doves of peace”, shortly before the attack, or with the very first bomb explosions, they ran away to the aggressor state or somewhere with the hope of sitting out. I want to warn them and others – it will not work! – summed up the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

At the same time, he assured that these are not just words, since today the law on collaborationism has already been adopted and it is in effect.

“And the choice is here simple. Everyone now either defends this country or fights against it,” Stefanchuk noted.

The head of parliament expressed gratitude to those people's deputies who, despite the constant danger of a physical attack from Russia, gather in the parliament hall and support important decisions for the country.

Today we face many challenges, because the country is at war, fighting, but living at the same time. We need to keep the armed forces fighting, help those who were forced to relocate, heal the sick and wounded, help the economy work, provide jobs, we need to sow grain and bake bread. And we need to raise children,” Ruslan Stefanchuk assured.

Today we are writing our history, today we are building the future of Ukraine.
