The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal closed the proceedings in the case of appealing the decisions to withdraw PrivatBank from the market with the participation of the state and confirmed the impossibility of returning the bank to its former owners.
This is stated on the NBU website.
In particular, on November 15, 2023, the court overturned the decision of the District Administrative Court of Kiev dated April 18, 2019, which satisfied the claim of the former co-owner of PrivatBank Igor Kolomoisky against the National Bank, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

— Today, 6 years later, the court confirmed the impossibility of returning PrivatBank to its former owners, for the additional capitalization of which the state spent more than 155 billion hryvnia. It should also be noted that all decisions of government bodies on the nationalization of PrivatBank are valid,” noted Viktor Grigorchuk, head of the claims department of the NBU Legal Department.
Earlier in Ukraine, suspicion was reported to the former head of the capital branch of PrivatBank.
