Prisoners have no rights, only duties: Russia solves 2 problems by throwing them to the front

Foreign intelligence reports that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin intends to continue mobilization among Russians. If the owner of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin has not yet thrown all the prisoners to the front, then they can be mobilized by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

This opinion was expressed by the military Armed Forces of Ukraine, people's deputy, secretary of the defense committee of the Verkhovna Rada Roman Kostenko on the air of Channel 24 . According to him, the Russians believe that convicted murderers perform well on the battlefield. In addition, prisoners do not have any rights, so they can be destroyed.

Russia throws prisoners to the front for 2 reasons

Kostenko noted that the Russians are convinced that the prisoners are very effective in fighting against Ukraine, so the convicts have only the duty to go on the offensive. Behind them are detachments that do not allow them to retreat.

A Ukrainian soldier claims that Russia is solving 2 problems by sending convicted murderers to the front. The first reason is that Russians who have become outcasts are being destroyed .

They (the Russians – Channel 24) solve several problems. Firstly, they dispose of people sitting in prisons who need to be fed, who are considered outcasts in society, who can be effectively used and destroyed, – said the people's deputy.

As Roman Kostenko emphasized, the second reason is that no one will be interested in the fate of prisoners . Therefore, according to the military, if the owner of PMC “Wagner” Prigozhin has not yet taken all the convicts from prisons, then the Russian Ministry of Defense can mobilize them.

Putin will continue to mobilize

Roman Kostenko believes that mobilization in Russia will continue, because the enemy needs someone to replace the losses. If the invaders go on the offensive, but they will not succeed, because the Armed Forces of Ukraine will defeat the enemy troops, and the Russians will need to hold the line. Therefore, Russia will need mobilization.

“The Russians will hold the line with the resources they have. If they continue to try to attack and constantly fight against the Ukrainian defenders, destroy their people, as they do, then they will need to mobilize for this. But they constantly carry out it,” – added military APU.

Budanov spoke about covert mobilization in Russia

  • Recently, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that covert mobilization continues in Russia. According to him, there is no problem for the “second army of the world” to recruit 500,000 soldiers.
  • He noted that more than 90% of the invaders were immediately sent to the front without training. A small percentage went to form new divisions, but the majority went to rebuilding.
  • Budanov added that the invaders had enough machine guns for any number. There are not enough armored vehicles even now, but this does not bother them at all.
