Evgeny Prigozhin
The Berlin clinic “Charite” returned to businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin a million rubles, which he transferred for the treatment of Alexei Navalny. This was reported by the press service of the Concord company in VKontakte.
The press service received a question from the editor of the German publication t-online about the fate of the money that Prigozhin promised to allocate for the treatment of the Russian oppositionist. “Concorde” replied that the businessman had transferred a million rubles to “Charite”, but this amount was returned back. “Most likely, for one of the following reasons: first, Yevgeny Prigozhin is under sanctions. The second is that in case of receiving money, the clinic will have to account for it, ”the company explained.
They added that the clinic does not want to disclose to Prigozhin the details of the poisoning and treatment of Navalny, therefore, “nothing is known about the state of health of the oppositionist at the moment.” “Recall that Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin is the only person who, according to public data, sent money for Navalny's treatment,” the press service concluded.
The fact that Prigozhin transferred a million rubles for Navalny's treatment became known on September 7. It was reported that this tranche was the second from a Russian businessman. For the first time, he sent 107,117 rubles 70 kopecks to Charité – Navalny's debt, which Prigozhin bought out from the Moscow Schoolboy.
Navalny became ill on August 20 during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. In the first two days, doctors from the Omsk hospital helped him. They also introduced him to an artificial coma. On August 22, the patient was sent to a clinic in Berlin. Currently, Navalny has come to his senses, he has already been disconnected from the ventilator. The German government said that military toxicologists had found traces of a substance from the Novichok group in the oppositionist's body.
