Prices for drugs in Ukraine may vary. The reason for this is the change in the exchange rate and inflation.
According to the head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on the health of the nation, Mikhail Radutsky, Ukrainians may soon notice a change in the price of medicines. We should not expect a special increase in prices – we are talking about fluctuations in indicators.
Price fluctuations
As Radutsky explained, 90% of drugs in Ukraine are imported drugs. Accordingly, due to fluctuations in the exchange rate and inflation, prices may change.
He also stressed that a sharp rise in the price of medicines in Ukraine is not yet expected.
