The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian Su-34 aircraft near the temporarily occupied Yenakiyevo in the Donetsk region. This is a rather expensive aircraft, which the invaders use on the line of collision during assaults.
Andrey Kramarov, a military expert and air defense specialist, spoke about this on Channel 24 . According to him, it is very important that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy such aircraft, because the Russians have a shortage of fighter pilots. Russia still has many Su-34s, but it is not known how many of them are still in operational condition.

Kramarov noted that this was a bright victory for the Nikopol anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Vostok air command. He explained that the Su-34 aircraft was equipped with Kh-59 missiles. Russia uses tactical aircraft such as Su-34 during assaults on a collision.
It is extremely important that our anti-aircraft missile forces shot down such a target. As we know, there is a significant shortage of fighter pilots in Russia. There is still a lot of such equipment in their arsenal. But we cannot say how many Su-34s are in combat condition today,” the specialist noted.
The military expert added that during the offensive, the invaders use not only Su-25 attack aircraft or helicopters, but also Su-30, Su-35 and Su-34 multipurpose fighters.
