In the Kherson region, the Russians are planning to hold an illegal “referendum” and proclaim a pseudo-republic. In the private printing house of Novaya Kakhovka, the occupiers have already launched machines and are printing ballots.
Journalist Oleg Baturin spoke about this on air on Channel 24. At the same time, local residents receive messages with threats that if a “referendum” is held, they are obliged to come there.
As Baturin said, there is information that some employees of the printing house openly cooperate with the occupiers and help them “hunt” for local activists and people with pro-Ukrainian views.
The presses are now running at a private printing house in Nova Kakhovka. They print some bulletins, documents prepared by the Russian occupation authorities,” the journalist noted.
According to Baturin, when people cross the checkpoints of the occupiers, they are forced to show them documents, so the Russians copy their data .
“People have concerns that this data may be used even without their knowledge for any purpose,” the journalist added.
