Ukrainian aviation twice hit the areas where the invaders are concentrated. Also, dozens of enemies are losing personnel in the Donetsk region.
Our military said that the Russians continue to advance in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. In other directions, they mostly defend.
What is known about Russian attacks
Our military warned of the threat of Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemies have inflicted:
- air and three missile strikes, one of which was on Kharkiv;
- 44 times fired from multiple launch rocket systems, including on settlements. Unfortunately, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population.
Subdivisions of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Lugansk region and Yampolevka, Razdolevka, Vasyukovka, Paraskoveevka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Klishchievka, Kurdyumovka and Ozaryanovka, Donetsk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
Russians lose equipment and personnel
Russian invaders suffered losses in the Donetsk region. Only on January 28, approximately 20 bodies of dead invaders from the Novobakhmutovka and Mayorsk regions were brought to one of the local morgues in Gorlovka.
“Our aviation during the day struck at the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system and 2 strikes at the areas of concentration of the invaders,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
They also added that the Ukrainian units of the missile forces and artillery of the Force defense hit:
- 2 radar stations;
- ammunition composition;
- one other important enemy object.
Latest news from the front
- Russian losses are constantly increasing. As of the morning of January 30, the Russians lost 490 soldiers over the past day alone. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has lost 126,650 personnel.
- Over the past week, January 23-29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated approximately 5,400 enemy personnel and 437 weapons and military equipment.
