On the night of May 11, drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the Volgograd oil refinery. It belongs to the fuel and lubricants enterprise “Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka”.

Relevant information 24 Channel< /strong> Ukrainian intelligence sources confirmed. Before this, on May 10, Russians complained because of the attack on the Kaluga oil refinery.

According to them, < strong>at the plant, the primary oil refining units AVT-1 and AVT-6 were damaged. Sources added that the current state of the installations is being clarified.

However, it is already known that the air cooler control cable was damaged , as a result of which 7 refrigerators were turned off. The chimney of the P-1 furnace was also damaged.

The Volgograd Oil Refinery was already under attack by drones

• On the night of February 3, 2024, the plant was already suffering from a drone attack. Then the fire covered approximately 300 square meters.
• Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that “the causes of the fire are unknown.” Then the occupiers traditionally tried to hide the consequences of the attack.
