Hourly shutdown schedules on May 25 will be valid for industrial and household consumers throughout Ukraine from 20:00 to 22:00.< /p>
The power supply of critical infrastructure facilities that perform the function of life support for the population is not limited.

The energy company warns that shutdowns can be applied if certain limits on consumption volumes are exceeded, which the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center communicates to each regional energy company every evening.

According to the head of the board of NEC Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudrytsky, planned power outages can be carried out throughout the summer, autumn and all of next winter.
“As we announced, hourly shutdown schedules will probably be applied for industry and the population due to the fact that the energy system does not have enough power to cover the evening peak of consumption,” said Kudritsky.
