About a thousand square meters burned down due to the hit of a Russian projectile on the territory of the market, Channel 24 reports. Rescuers managed to extinguish the fire a few hours later.

The owner of one of the kiosks that was destroyed by the invaders said that she plans to continue working in the market even after the shelling.

It is not known what will happen next, whether it (the new place on the market – 24 channels) will be intact. We want to start working, because we need to improve the economy of Ukraine,” said businesswoman Svetlana.

The fire happened not for the first time

Speaker of the Barabashovo shopping center Sergey Zaitsev recalled that the Russians had already shelled this territory with Grads in March. Then the fire spread over the entire area of ​​the largest market in Eastern Europe.

“This is not the first fire as a result of enemy shelling on the Barabashovo territory. Fortunately, this is not the largest shelling, not the largest fire. On May 20, there was shelling, which resulted in 2 fires,” Sergey Zaitsev noted.
