Invaders parade in Moscow/Collage of Channel 24
On Red Square a miserable military parade started in Russia. The state that launched a brutal war in Ukraine pulled off the remnants of its equipment to demonstrate imaginary “power”.
Kremlin's imaginary victory
While the Russian army is killing the civilian population of Ukraine, a parade is taking place in Moscow. The Russians came out to brag about the victory over Nazism, although they showed that they themselves are much worse than the Nazis, writes Channel 24.
This year the Kremlin has nothing to brag about. Vladimir Putin's plans for a three-day takeover of Ukraine have failed to the core. While the Russians are celebrating “victory”, their military is suffering huge losses in Ukraine. “Victory” is only in the sick imagination of the Kremlin. But in Ukraine they failed to advance – the Russians were forced out of Kyiv and the northern regions. Soon the Armed Forces will repulse the invaders from the South and East. Ukraine's victory is only a matter of time. But Russia has nothing more to hope for.
Putin rings the remnants of weapons
Much less equipment was driven to the parade in 2022 than last year. Yes, there are no heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A “Solntsepek”, no machines of the engineering remote mining system “Slow down”, no anti-aircraft complex “Pantsir-S”. After all, all these weapons are now in Ukraine. A significant part of our fighters have already been turned into scrap metal.
Less at the parade and the military. After all, more than 25.6 thousand died in Ukraine, thousands more were injured. Therefore, fewer fighters will play along with Putin in this matter.
In order to impress people with something, the “highlight” of Putin's parade should be the Il-80 air command post, which is called the “doomsday” aircraft. It is designed to transport Russian control in the event of a nuclear war. However, this is not meant to be. The air part of the parade was canceled due to supposedly bad weather.
Pay attention! This year the Kremlin was only able to attend the parade in Moscow. Indeed, in many other large cities of Russia there will be neither equipment nor military personnel. Firefighters or children will be forced to walk around the squares.
Even Lukashenka did not come to Putin
Not a single world leader wanted to embarrass himself along with Putin. It is surprising that even the puppet of the Kremlin – the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko – did not come. By the way, Dmitry Peskov justified himself by saying that they “did not invite anyone” to the parade, because “the date is not an anniversary.”
How much the parade cost
The Russian authorities do not say how much budget money was allocated for the “show” on Red Square. However, Russian media write that only the services of the announcer cost 500 thousand rubles. In addition, St. George ribbons, flags, balloons and propaganda brochures were purchased for 68 million rubles.
