In Poland, protesters continue to block the border with Ukraine. It is known that a patrol boat was also stuck. It should come to us as part of the US aid program.

Pavel Kravchuk, an analyst with the public organization “Europe without Barriers,” spoke about this on his Facebook. We are talking about a SAFE Boats International patrol boat, which was transported to Ukraine using a truck.

Protesters called the boat an “expensive yacht”

The analyst drew attention to the statement of blockers representing the anti-Ukrainian Confederation party. According to them, the truck carrying the SAFE Boats was not only detained, but also sent to the back of the line. And all because, in their opinion, this is an “expensive yacht”, which was registered as a humanitarian aid.

Kravchuk noted that he received a response from SAFE Boats International. The company noted that Ukraine was provided with 8-meter patrol boats of the “Walk Around Cabin” type. And that this is part of an assistance program from the American government.

It should be understood that the vessels concerned are intended for use as government patrol vessels. Instead, they are by no means intended to be used as private yachts.

Actually, in the photo you can see something resembling a boat. And it had a cover with the SAFE Boats International logo on it. This is what prompted the idea that we were talking about a ship of this company. This was confirmed by the manufacturer himself, stating that the corresponding boats should be provided to Ukraine.

As Militarny noted, the corresponding company does not produce boats for civilian use. And all because the scope of its activities is to meet the needs of rescuers, police, military and border guards.

Please note that from 1 am on December 4, the Ugrinov-Dolgobychev checkpoint will open for trucks. This is one of the points of the joint Ukrainian-Polish plan regarding the unblockade of the border. Empty heavy vehicles with a total permissible weight of more than 7.5 tons (except for empty uncleaned tanks) will be able to travel through this checkpoint.
