But Poland supported the Ukrainians and will continue to do so. This is reported by 24 Kanal with reference to Polsat News. Karol Nawrocki supported his position by exhuming the bodies of the victims of the Volyn tragedy in Ukraine. Karol Nawrocki's opinion on Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO Commenting on the statement of the newly elected US President Donald Trump about Ukraine joining NATO, Nawrocki said that he “has a strong opinion” on this matter. According to him, Ukraine cannot join international alliances now. Today I do not see Ukraine in any structure – neither in the European Union, nor in NATO, until such important for Poles civilizational issues are resolved. A country that is not able to answer for a very cruel crime worth 120,000 zlotys cannot be part of international alliances, – noted the candidate for the presidency of Poland. Karol Nawrocki also added that the agreement concluded between the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Poland on the exhumation of the bodies of Poles killed in Ukraine is “an unnecessary and premature step of the head of Polish diplomacy”. But if Nawrocki becomes the President of the Republic of Poland, he will talk to the Ukrainian side about the fact that the Polish side, its “financial efforts, efforts of citizens, military efforts that helped Ukraine, would like Ukraine to treat it as a partner.” This cooperation also includes the possibility of burying women and children who died during the Volyn tragedy. I would like to clearly state that the Institute of National Remembrance (…) can support the government's efforts in the matter of exhumation in Volyn. Here, the Polish case is much more important to us. We would like a breakthrough, but there is none yet, – said Karol Nawrocki. It is worth noting! Karol Nawrocki currently heads the Polish Institute of National Remembrance. The Poles have asked him to begin work on searching for and exhuming the remains of Poles in the Rivne region. The institute plans to do this in 2025. Ukraine and Poland cooperate on the Volyn tragedy of 1943 In December, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke about some progress in resolving historical issues between the Polish and Ukrainian sides. He noted that history should not separate the two countries, which need to maintain cooperation. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail alex previous post Reuters Explains Why Trump Needs Greenland next post Social payments-2025: what will be the aid amounts in the new year You may also like Why Trump Needs Greenland: Financial Times Explains 10.01.2025 17-year-old boys who fail to register for military... 10.01.2025 Explosions thundered in Voronezh: Russians say air defense... 09.01.2025 Primitive and vulnerable to electronic warfare: what is... 09.01.2025 Trump has already “moved on”: how close is... 09.01.2025 Social payments-2025: what will be the aid amounts... 09.01.2025 Needed to Stop Russia's Advance: Ukraine Wants to... 09.01.2025 White House says Ukraine has tools to succeed... 09.01.2025 The state needs specialists: Ukrainians abroad are offered... 09.01.2025 Why Trump's forecasts for the end of the... 09.01.2025 Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
