Polish Foreign Ministry sends protest note to Russia after massive attack on Ukraine

Following the massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv on the night of Friday, July 4, Poland officially protested to Russia over the shelling of the Ukrainian population and damage to the building of the Polish embassy.

Russia's Night Attack on Kyiv on July 4: What is Known

On the night of July 4, the Ukrainian capital suffered one of the largest attacks since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a record number of targets at Ukraine – 550 units, of which 539 were drones and 11 were missiles.

Ballistic missiles, in particular the Kinzhal type, were also used.

The most widespread use of Shaheeds during the entire war was more than 330. Air defense forces managed to destroy 476 drones and two Iskander-K cruise missiles.

The attack left 23 people injured, debris fell in five areas of the city, and fires broke out in many places, which were only extinguished by evening.
