Polish protesters plan to intensify actions throughout the country. In particular, on Saturday they are planning a 24-hour blockade of the S3 highway near the city of Myslibuzh, which is not far from the border with Germany.

Also over the weekend, farmers will completely block traffic on the German border in the area of ​​Krajnik Dolny, near Szczecin. The action was also announced around the clock.

And farmers from the Lubuskie Voivodeship, together with German farmers, want to block the highway and the checkpoint at the largest border crossing point, near the cities of Świeczko and Słubice, in both directions .

A lawsuit may be filed against farmers

At the same time Some local business associations opposed these farmers' plans. In particular, the mayor of Slubice sent a joint appeal to the heads of a number of carrier companies, gas stations, shops, etc. with a request to ban the protest. The letter states that the farmers' protest will paralyze their work and will lead to failure to fulfill obligations to business partners with significant financial losses.

Transportation companies threatened legal action against farmers if the protest will still take place and they will suffer losses.
