Poland plans to transfer 10 more Leopard 2 tanks and 60 T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine within a few weeks.

This was stated by the Minister of the Office of the Prime Minister of Poland Michal Dvorczyk.

“It's a matter of weeks to come,” Dvorchik said of the transfer of the rest of the Leopard 2 tanks.

According to him, this will happen after the completion of training in Poland for Ukrainian tank crews.

Regarding the 60 modernized T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks, their transfer will take place in the same period or sooner, the official noted.

In fact, they are already in the process of being transferred. Soon they will reach Ukraine,” the Polish minister summed up.

What preceded this

During a visit to Kiev on February 24, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki handed over four Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. He also said that Poland is ready to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression, the country has transferred about 250 T-72 tanks to Ukraine.

Important! Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to form at least two tank battalions armed with German Leopard 2 tanks.
