Poland plans to train Ukrainian sappers/Channel 24 Collage
In Poland, they seek to train the Ukrainian military. This will allow them to more effectively eliminate the consequences of the Russian invasion of the territory of our state.
Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak announced the corresponding initiative. During his visit to Ukraine, he stressed that the independence and sovereignty of our state has a direct impact on him.
In addition, he met with his Ukrainian counterpart Alexei Reznikov. During the conversation, the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized the desire to have a free Ukraine next to Poland. And it is for this purpose that the state in every possible way supports ours in confrontation with Russia.
Poland wants contribute to the demining of Ukraine
Mariusz Blaszczak, during a joint press conference, spoke about the desire to train the Ukrainian military in Poland.
Sappers can be trained, we all know very well that the Russians left mines on the occupied Ukrainian territory, so they need to be removed. We are ready to train the Ukrainian military so that they can clear these territories,” Blashchak emphasized.
He also focused on the scale of military assistance to Ukraine. According to him, our state received more than 700 million dollars necessary to confront Russia.We are also talking about weapons of Polish production. In particular, the Piorun portable anti-aircraft systems, as well as the Krab howitzers, so beloved by our military. Poland also provided us with about 250 tanks.
Germany announced a large-scale aid package
If we have already started talking about providing weapons, it would be unfair to ignore the help from Germany. The Ministry of Defense of this state has published a list of what the Ukrainian military should soon receive.
Providing such an amount of military assistance to Ukraine became possible thanks to the funds of the federal government's modernization initiative. This year's budget has grown on it, and it now stands at 2 billion euros. So many funds were allocated for a reason, namely for effective assistance to our state. The weapon package itself contains from cartridges and anti-tank mines to multiple rocket launchers and air defense systems.
And this means that we will have even more opportunities to effectively destroy the enemy. Add to this the exercises conducted by the Ukrainian military in Poland, and we will also get a chance to quickly clear the territories liberated from Russian occupation.
