The head of the Polish Ministry of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said that the government has approved the purchase of HIMARS installations for the Polish army. We are talking about the supply of 486 units of missile launch systems.

The supply of these installations will be carried out within the framework of the HOMAR-A program for the Polish army. All processes associated with placing the complexes on combat duty will begin in 2025.

At the same time, he stressed that it will be difficult adapt and integrate launchers with Polish systems. However, after discussions with the Polish arms industry, he assured that Poland will carry out this integration within two years after delivery of the installations.
