The 1,229th day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues. As of 16:00, since the beginning of the day on July 6, 97 combat clashes have occurred along the entire front line.

Today, areas of the settlements of Maryino, Chernatskoye, Bobylevka, Belaya Bereza, Khodyn, Prokhody, Tolstodubovo, Bachevsk in the Sumy region, as well as Semenovka, Leskovshchina, Timonovichi in the Chernihiv region suffered from enemy artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation.

The highest enemy activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction – 26 attempts to push the Ukrainian defenders from their positions. The Russians attacked in the areas of the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Poltavka, Novoekonomichnoe, Mirnoye, Lisovka, Zverevo, Udachnoye, Orekhovoe, Alekseyevka and in the directions of Pokrovsk, Molodetskoye, Dachnoye and Muravka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 19 enemy attacks.
In the Liman direction, the invading army carried out 21 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Grekovka, Krasny Stav, Serebryanka, Karpovka, in the directions of Novy Mir and Torskoye. Four combat clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Severno-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, six combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day, two of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out six air strikes, dropped 18 guided aerial bombs and carried out 146 artillery attacks.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Kamenka, Zelenoye, Ambarnoye, Vovchansk and in the direction of Khatnego, another six clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked positions in the areas of Kondrashovka, Golubovka and Zeleny Gai five times; all enemy assaults were successfully repelled.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried six times to displace units in the areas of Dilievka, Toretsk, Rusin Yar and Yablonovka. The defense forces repelled five assaults, one combat clash continues.
In the Novopavlovka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks in the areas of Zaporozhye, Zvezda, Mirny, Komar, Novosyolka and in the direction of Novopavlovka, two more clashes are ongoing.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, near Malinovka, two enemy attacks are continuing. In the Orekhov and Pridneprovsk directions, the enemy carried out air strikes on populated areas.
