Podolyak spoke about a possible evacuation from Crimea: when it could happen

In Crimea, the same events will take place as in all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – the Armed Forces of Ukraine will liberate him. Therefore, civilians will need to stay in a safe place until the de-occupation of the peninsula.

Advisor to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak spoke about a possible evacuation from Crimea on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24 reports.

Ukrainian Armed Forces will dismiss Crimea

Podolyak said that the world understands that exactly the same events will take place in Crimea as in any temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine .

This is already a fixed question. That is, today no one tells us: “Let's do something somewhere, and Crimea will somehow be bypassed.” No, everyone already understands that Crimea is exactly the same occupied territory. Legally, it is part of Ukraine, de facto it is now controlled by the occupying Russian troops, – noted the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office.

He noted that 8 years ago in Crimea there was a banal seizure of civilian and military property by a certain number of persons having Russian citizenship. All these people already understand that all property is stolen and they need to run across the Crimean bridge.

“That's good. We have nothing to do with this. We say: “You liked it there, but let's go to your Cheboksary,” Podolyak added.

According to him, a certain number of people will remain on the peninsula, despite possible hostilities, they will not want to be evacuated, as the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk used to be.

“The Russian Federation has not provided anything there. There are no bomb shelters. Look for places where you will sit while de-occupation technologies are in operation,” the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office noted.

When Russia allows evacuation from Crimea

The official added that Russia is still behaving boldly and does not understand that it is actually losing the war, because 189 days to fight against a small country with such resources looks rather strange. Despite this, the invaders must suffer a number of tactical defeats in the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Donetsk regions.

“If they receive these defeats, when several large cities of Ukraine are released, for example, Mariupol, Berdyansk, Khersonand others, then after that the psychological state of the Russian political and political-military elites will noticeably change,” Podolyak said.

According to him, then they will no longer think about how to bring Ukraine to its knees, but about how to get out of the war, understanding its legal consequences.

“And therefore, it will be necessary to negotiate humanitarian corridors. Because, for example, when we wanted to evacuate from the Zaporozhye region 4 months ago, they said: “We will not allow you anything, we will shoot at civilian columns, etc.” Why? They thought that they would win the war,” the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office noted.

He added that the occupiers, having received a number of defeats, will understand that after the war a number of significant humanitarian claims will be against them. Therefore, during the negotiations The Ukrainian side will propose an operational pause for the evacuation of people from Crimea. Trains, for example, will stop in the Kherson region.

Podolyak summed up that then Russia would agree to this, so that later it would not be responsible for actions, as well as being anti-humanitarian in nature.
