Consequences for Ukraine from such negotiations would be disastrous. Here are several potential options for what happens next:
- Russia will think it has won.
- Russia will constantly provoke and threaten Ukraineregarding the next stage of the war, aggravation, etc.
- Russia will not abandon further plans for the occupation of the entire Black Sea area.
- All money will leave Ukraine. No one will invest in a state that has “frozen” in a full scale war.
- People will not return . No one wants to go, for example, Kharkov or Nikolaev, where shelling can resume at any moment.
Podolyak notes that the state will begin to decline sharply. Ukraine will not be able to restore export potential in agriculture, metallurgy, chemistry, etc. There will be problems with electricity , because the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will be under the control of infidels.
Many problems will arise. Therefore, all these talks about negotiations that should already be started are actually talks about Ukraine ceasing to exist. If not because of the war, then because of the rapid decline, – Mikhail Podolyak emphasized.
If there are negotiations, but Ukraine rejects Russia's ultimatums
According to Podolyak, this is also nothing will give Ukraine but only aggravate the situation . Conditionally, Russia will demand to reject claims to Kherson and other occupied territories. Of course, Ukraine will not agree to this at all.
