Podolyak explained what conditions we can agree on in the negotiations in Mariupol/Office of the President
Mikhail Podolyak stressed that there is still hope for negotiations with Russia in Mariupol. It is essential for the authorities to take away not only civilians, but also the military.
The adviser to the head of the Presidential Office noted that Russia aims to destroy Mariupol as a whole.
There is hope for negotiations
We do not rule out that we can still agree on at least some kind of truce. Yesterday, the UN representatives said that they were ready to join the export of our guys.
Unfortunately, Russia ignores all this. For them, the word “humanism” is generally incomprehensible, – admitted Podolyak.
What conditions Ukraine can agree to
Podolyak stressed that only those conditions that we put forward are acceptable to us. There can be no others.
- We arrive there and talk with representatives of the negotiating group with the mediation of any international institution.
- We remove all people: wounded, civilians, military.
The politician added that after the events that took place in the Kyiv region, it would be important for Russia to show that something humane is inherent in them. Now the whole world's attention is riveted in Mariupol, so the invaders should be allowed to take people away.
