Ukraine has developed a plan to build a new An Mriya aircraft, which will replace the only legendary aircraft destroyed by the invaders in the first days after the invasion.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom, David Lomjaria, within the framework of the NATO summit, which began today in Washington.
— We know that the goal of the supervising company is to rebuild this aircraft and demonstrate to the world that Ukraine is capable of reproducing this aircraft, which is legendary in the heavy transport industry, — he remarked.
Lomjaria did not disclose details of construction intentions and the start date of the project, but confirmed that such plans have already been formed.
