The dates in the Russian-Ukrainian war were 16 June. Then Ukraine could suffer a kind of defeat if it agreed to a peace agreement with the aggressor.
Russian publicist Andrey Piontkovsky spoke about this on Channel 24 in a conversation with Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk. In his opinion, back then, on June 16, the leaders of France, Germany and Italy came to Kyiv to extend the peace agreement with Russia for Ukraine.
Andriy Piontkovsky is convinced that Emmanuel Macron < strong>wanted to repeat the same trick that Nicolas Sarkozy succeeded in 2008 and Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel in 2014-2015 – to formalize a certain peace agreement with Russia. But they failed.
Macron wanted to put the territories occupied by Russia on paper, as well as force him to sign an agreement that would not only recognize the loss of land, but also “wound” Ukraine somewhat. The Minsk agreements were once partly similar,” Piontkovsky noted.
In his opinion, after the defeat of Russian infidels near Kyiv, Putin and Russian generals realized that they could not defeat Ukraine on the battlefield. Therefore, they began to promote all sorts of attempts to initiate negotiations, where they could advance the conditions they needed.
Against the background of failures and unfulfilled tasks, as Piontkovsky emphasizes, the Russian “state-patriotic uterus” began to beat. This is manifested in many aggressive decisions of the Kremlin: increasing rocket attacks, switching from a certain strategy to open terror, scandals at the meeting between Lukashenka and Putin.
In all likelihood, before that, it could have applied the decision of the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations to recognize Russia as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Although, according to the publicist, this formulation is incorrect. After all, Russia is literally a terrorist, and not a sponsor of this phenomenon.
Let's add, Andrey Piontkovsky believes that because of his criminal actions, Putin may soon lose power in Russia. The next leaders of the state will also be scoundrels, but they will have to make concessions on their own policies.
