“Photoshop troops in action”: how the Russians of Krivuko are trying to lie about the situation near Kupyansk

by alex

Russian propagandists set about creating fakes that the invaders allegedly control the situation in Kupyansk. However, “something happened” and the fakes had to be edited

In the afternoon, one of the propaganda publications published a photo of its correspondent taking a selfie against the background of the Kupyansk stele. On the eve of the network, a photo of the Ukrainian military circled around the background of a similar stele. The word “similar” is important here.

How the propagandists screwed up

The propagandists decided to reassure the Russians that “there is no panic”. Only a “negative attack” is possible. However, the tutorial failed. Propagandists published a photo at the stele on the other side of the city. This is indicated by certain differences in the photographs. In particular, the stele itself and the area around.

You can find a lot of differences in the photo/SPRAVDI screenshot

When the propagandists realized that something had gone wrong and their fake was too obvious, the message was changed. Now they say the photo was taken on the other side of town. Given that the propagandists have already lied, it would not be surprising if this photo turns out to be a photoshop at all.

This is what the edited message looks like/Screenshot

APU can liberate Kupyansk in a matter of hours

Against the backdrop of a powerful counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, at midnight on September 9, analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War published a report stating that within 72 hours the Armed Forces can liberate Kupyansk from occupation.

The Russians in the city are in real panic. Kupyansk was the center of the occupied territory of the Kharkiv region, however, due to the fear of a counteroffensive, the occupiers proclaimed Volchansk a new center.

Kupyansk is an important supply route for weapons and other reinforcements for the occupiers in the Izyum direction. The city was under occupation on February 27 – then the mayor of the city, Gennady Matsegora, surrendered the city to the enemy, betrayed Ukraine and went over to the side of the Russians.
