Kharkiv region remains temporarily occupied by 20%. Ukrainian defenders, liberating the territory, record war crimes against civilians.

In particular, many civilians were found shot in the street. The chief of staff of the special forces Kraken Konstantin Nemichev told this exclusively to the Channel 24 website.

War crimes in the Kharkiv region

In Russkaya Lozova and Nursery of the Kharkov region, residents found Russian troops at 5:00 in the morning. Therefore, they did not have the opportunity to leave the territory – the invaders immediately cut off the path to Kharkov. The locals were under siege without food, water, electricity for two months.

According to Nemichev, residents said that Russian soldiers herded people into basements and took away phones. In addition, people were forbidden to travel in their own cars.

They were kicked out to Belgorod, in Russia. They offered to go there almost every day. People were bullied. There are a lot of cases of violence, interrogations. Many civilians were simply shot in the streets. These are the same Russians who were in Bucha and other regions. They have one mentality, and they work according to their own notes,” he noted.

Nemichev stressed that fighting continues in Kharkov and the region. In the Kharkiv direction, the invaders are focused on holding the positions that they managed to capture earlier.

In the Izyum region, the Russians continue their offensive attempts. Therefore, it is still dangerous to return to the city. The defender urged all Kharkiv residents to wait with their arrival, as well as to observe safety rules and not neglect the siren signals.

We add that on May 26, Russian invaders fired on Kharkiv from Pion large-caliber cannons, the firing range of which reaches 47 kilometers, and multiple launch rocket systems.
