Peskov says one thing, and Putin says the opposite – Yakovenko on strikes on Russian territory Petro Sineoky

Dictator Vladimir Putin and his press secretary Dmitry Peskov often say completely different things. There is no point in looking for logic in their words.

Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko told Channel 24 about this, commenting on Putin and Peskov's statements about possible permission to strike Russia with Western long-range weapons.

There are no “red lines”

As Yakovenko noted, Peskov came up with the idea of saying that the so-called “own” is a response to the strikes on Russia. It seems as if Ukraine was attacking Russia before the start of a full-scale war.

Putin started saying that such permission would mean “direct participation of the Alliance in the war.” Although before that he had already said that the United States and other countries were fighting against Russia. There is no need to look for logic in these statements.

The conclusion is simple. It is definitely necessary to attack. And there will be no other response than the one that Russia constantly makes. Talk about escalation is empty words. He is already shelling Ukrainian cities and killing Ukrainian citizens. He has nothing in reserve that he could launch in response to this permission. All “red lines” in the minds of Western politicians must be erased, Yakovenko emphasized.

Pay attention! According to media reports, the US and Great Britain have decided to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range weapons. But they do not want to officially announce this yet.
