Peskov answered whether the Kremlin received requests for a conversation between Putin and Trump Margarita Voloshina

The Western press previously reported on a telephone conversation between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, who recently won the US presidential election. The Kremlin denied this.

Now the dictator's representative Dmitry Peskov explained the reason why this dialogue has not yet taken place. This was reported by 24 Channel with reference to Russian propaganda media.

Why Putin did not speak with Trump

As Vladimir Putin's press secretary explained, Moscow has not received any requests for a possible conversation between the dictator and Trump, who has already managed to hold a number of telephone conversations with leaders of various countries.

No requests for a conversation with Putin have yet been received from Trump's team, Russian media quote Peskov as saying.

What does this preceded

Vladimir Putin recently spoke for the first time about Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election. He congratulated the Republican on his success and the fact that he would soon take the top post in the United States.

In response to a question, he stated that he was supposedly ready to talk to Trump: “I'm not ashamed to call him on my part, I just don't do it, because the leaders of Western countries first called me every week, and then they stopped.”
