People's Deputy from European Solidarity Artur Gerasimov refused to take the materials of the case on non-declaration of real estate in Spain. In addition, he rejected the documents, subsequently closed the car door and left.
The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office showed how the indictment was served. Moreover, it is known that the case concerns a false declaration.
What is known about the indictment of Gerasimov
The SAP did not name the people's deputy, but they said , what is said about non-declaration of real estate in Spain for 2020.
On February 7, 2023, the prosecutor in criminal proceedings with the participation of NABU detectives handed over an indictment to the suspect, the SAP report says.
Based on the materials of the NABU pre-trial investigation, the SAPO prosecutor sent an indictment to the court on entering knowingly false information in the annual declaration for 2020.
According to the interlocutors of Ukrainska Pravda, “in law enforcement agencies, they are talking about the people's deputy from the European Solidarity, Artur Gerasimov.
The video does not show the face, but you can hear how the people's deputy refuses to accept the materials of the pre-trial investigation. The footage shows that:
- the people's deputy takes several pieces of paper, possibly the indictment itself, and in parallel, probably speaks with his lawyer on the phone;
- further states that everything else was given to the lawyer;
- he says into the phone: “They are trying to poke me something”;
- after that he says to the prosecutor: “We will come to get acquainted. I'm not going to take anything (closes the door – Channel 24). I didn't hit. Please, don't poke me anything”;
- then he pushed the folders with documents, closed the car door and left.
The prosecutor said that the materials of the criminal case would also be sent to the last known place of residence of the deputy, because he refuses to take them.

- the two-story residential premises and a parking space in Spain belonging to him and his wife, with a total value of 228 thousand euros;
- 1657 dollars, which were on accounts in one of the Ukrainian banks.
The SAP qualified the actions of the deputy under the article of deliberate introduction by the subject of the declaration of knowingly false information into the declaration of a person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government.
According to this article, if guilt is proven in court, the perpetrators face a fine of 51 to 68 thousand hryvnias, or public works for 150 – 240 hours, or restriction of freedom up to 2 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years.

- The “Schemes” established that the people's deputy from European Solidarity did not declare a two-story villa in Spain with an area of 120 square meters.
- Housing and parking space are located in the Spanish province of Alicante. Artur Gerasimov and his wife have owned this property since 2013.
- The people's deputy himself said earlier that he allegedly informed the NAPC about inaccuracies in his declaration. However, it should be noted that he has never mentioned this property in his declarations since 2013. That is why the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on the fact of a lie in the declaration.
