People's Deputy from the banned party Igor Abramovich resigned his mandate. He has already written a statement to that effect.
Abramovich wrote a statement on the drafting of the mandate today, February 6. Recall that on January 13, Abramovich was seen in the Verkhovna Rada. He didn't show up for almost a year.
Abramovich resigned his mandate
According to the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia, it was Abramovich's withdrawal from the OPPL faction on the first day of a full-scale invasion that laid the foundation for its further collapse in the Ukrainian parliament.
Arakhamia hopes that Abramovich's decision to resign as a deputy will also become an example to follow for other deputies from the banned OPPL.
Although Igor, with his pro-Ukrainian position, has never been associated with the ideology of the Opposition Platform for Life. It is enough to look at the “synchronism” of his vote with former party members. In other words, he is a friend among strangers in the rear of the fifth column,” Arakhamia noted.
The “Restoration of Ukraine” deputy group created by Abramovich only strengthened the the resilience of the parliament in the face of an external aggressor, Arakhamia believes.“Therefore, I urge other deputies from the banned faction of the Opposition Platform for Life to follow this example. It's time to finally feel the mood of society in the 11th month of a full-scale war,” he added.
