“People with common sense cannot understand this”: Lavrov threatens Moldova

by alex

Russian rhetoric has been divided in an interesting way: on the one hand, NATO and other countries pose a threat to the Kremlin, on the other, the Russians themselves officials threaten neighboring countries. These intimidations should become a certain signal for the neighbors of the aggressor country.

This Channel 24 was told by political scientist Oleksandr Antonyuk. He believes that such statements by Russia should prompt certain actions by the special services of these countries.

The other day Sergey Lavrov, in an interview with Dmitry Kiselev, said that Moldova could become a new anti-Russian project after Ukraine.< /p>

Recall that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova reacted to these words. They refuted all Lavrov's accusations, calling it a well-known threatening rhetoric of Russian diplomacy. >Antonyuk interpreted this statement as a warning to the Moldovan authorities that now Russia, using their outcasts and pro-Russian forces, will try to inflame the situation in the republic. Similarly, they worked in Ukraine.

The political scientist calls this a warning to the Moldovan special services, which should carry out appropriate cleansing operations and closely monitor the personnel that controls Transnistria. In particular, Russia can do such provocations to divert the attention of the world from the events in Ukraine.

Russia imposes its own rhetoric

Antoniuc is sure that although 5 thousand or even 10 personnel do not pose a particular threat to Moldova, such precedents shock the world for a certain period.

What they say without any logic, people with common sense do not understand this, and you need to get used to it. They live in their own fictional world, they are trying to impose it on other countries, this applies to absolutely all of Russia's neighbors. – the speaker added.

Antonyuk drew attention to the fact that Yevgeny Kiselyov's question listed examples of those countries that Russia could probably attack. It was about Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan. It was a kind of warning for these countries to take a close look at whether there were provocateurs among their citizens.
