The State Emergency Service has been fighting for people's lives since day one. They work under shelling and in the middle of fire.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this. He posted a photo of rescuers working in a war.

“People with big hearts and great fortitude. You eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling. You tame the flames and save people's lives. You are our heroes of the present !” Zelensky wrote.
