People from Belogorovka were evacuated under shelling by the Russian army/Channel 24 Collage
26 April, the first organized evacuation of the population from Belogorovka took place. According to the city authorities, the population was taken out under the shelling of Russian troops.
The relevant information appeared on the telegram channel of the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai. He noted that 180 people were evacuated from the Luhansk region in a day.
Evacuation from Bialogorivka
First Deputy Head Luhansk Regional State Administration Alexei Smirnov stressed that people had to be evacuated under shelling.
It cannot be said that it was safe there for the previous two months, but after the occupying troops entered Kremennaya, the shelling of Belogorovka became more frequent,” he said.
He added that the village is located just a few kilometers from Kremennaya. Therefore, the city authorities maximally secured the route and the meeting place. This was helped by the military and police who accompanied the evacuees to the railway station in Pokrovsk.
Now 49 residents of Belogorivka, including eight children, are safely sent to the western regions of Ukraine.
Evacuation from PopasnaSergei Gaidai noted that the authorities also organized another evacuation group from Popasna.
They were able to take another 33 people out of the flames. In total, 53 residents of the priesthood were saved on April 26, – the head of the OVA noted.
Earlier, Gaidai said that three people were killed as a result of Russian shelling in Popasna in the Luhansk region.
