The other day, the Prime Minister of Hungary, known for his negative statements towards Ukraine, paid a visit to Moscow, where he met with the Russian dictator. In Lithuania, it seems that such behavior of Viktor Orban is not approved.

So, Latvian MP Rihards Kols commented on Orban’s trip to Moscow. And he did it in a rather funny way, using a play on words.

Latvian MP ridiculed Orban

Deputy of the Latvian Seimas, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission Richard Kols published a short but meaningful response to the “peacekeeping” initiatives of the head of the Hungarian government and his meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Orban demonstrates his trip to Moscow as a desire for peace between Ukraine and Russia. However, his rhetoric and views contradict such an illusion.

Therefore, the Latvian official briefly and aptly expressed his opinion regarding the recent “travels” of the Hungarian Prime Minister, using an expletive with the help of a pun from “peace”, which means peace in English.

At the same time, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk hinted that Orban's visit to Moscow and his meeting with Putin could be dangerous . The Polish Prime Minister is also convinced that after this meeting, hardly anyone in Europe will feel safer.
