Lukashenko unexpectedly declared common interests with Great Britain/Channel 24 collage
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko continues to amaze the public with his senile statements. This time he distinguished himself with regards to Great Britain.
Lukashenko's statement was published by the Belarusian media controlled by the regime. Now he says that Belarus and the UK supposedly have common interests, Channel 24 reports.
Lukashenka congratulated the queen on her birthday
The Belarusian dictator made such statements on the occasion of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. He even congratulated all the people of the Kingdom on this holiday.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Great Britain have been going on for 30 years. During this time, Lukashenka saw the common interests of a democratic country and his dictatorial regime. Allegedly, this overcomes the distance and borders between states.
We are united by the desire for peace, stability and sustainable development. I am convinced that these values should be a priority for our societies. Today, more than ever before, we should jointly look for ways to prevent the escalation of the international situation, the food crisis and the growth of ethnic intolerance, Lukashenka cynically stated.
Moreover, he got together with the UK to overcome modern challenges “to ensure a worthy future.” At least he encouraged the country to do so.

Lukashenko praised the Armed Forces of Ukraine
After the failure of the Russian troops in the North of Ukraine, which Belarus helped to invade, Lukashenka now does not know what to do and what position is better to take. Therefore, more and more strange and unexpected statements are heard from him. For example, recently he even praised the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In May, Lukashenka held a meeting with his top security officials. The main topic of the meeting was the state order in the defense sector for 2022. Then he started talking about the need to work on the development of small “mobile groups” in the army of Belarus. Allegedly, it was this component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that showed itself incredibly well on the battlefield against the Russians.
Threats for Ukraine from Belarus
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urges people not to relax, because there is a threat from the Belarusian border. From there shelling is always possible, but not only that. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the morning of June 11, up to seven battalion armed forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to carry out their task in the Volyn and Polesye directions. They are reinforcing sections of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.
- In addition, Lukashenka said that he plans to double the number of military personnel in the Belarusian army. The country wants to make a southern operational command. That is why it is planned to increase the number of its armed forces to 80 thousand people. Belarus plans to equip military units with equipment and weapons at the expense of stored technical means. And alleged exercises are still going on near the borders of Ukraine.
- At the same time, experts assumed that an offensive from Belarus could occur under certain conditions. For example, if Russia wants to invade from this side again, then it can do it together with the army of Belarus. For an independent invasion, these troops do not have combat experience, motivation and strength.
