Even though they do not yet have resource significance for this “quartet”. Against this background, as the head of the Center for Public Analysis “Vezha” Valeriy Klochok explained to Channel 24, Ukraine needs to strengthen relations with Western partners.

“Pay attention to Africa and the countries of the Global South. They may be objects of close attention of the “monsters” – China and Russia,” Klochok said.

These states, according to him, will play a significant role in geopolitics in 2025. Although they do not yet have resource significance for Moscow and Beijing. The defining success for them will still be cooperation with Europe and the USA.

Therefore, further development of processes in the world will largely depend on the policy of the elected US President Donald Trump after January 20, the day of his inauguration.

What Ukraine needs to do in this situation

Mutual congratulations of dictators on the New Year just testify to the desire to form an informal union of countries professing the principle of autocracy – one of the most effective in managing state processes, as they themselves claim.

Ukraine needs to accept this fact and strengthen relations with Western partners. Kyiv should play one of the key roles in shaping European policy. This is not an easy task, but its implementation has already gradually begun, for example, in Syria. There should be more examples like this.

Please note! Ukraine will support Syria's food security by providing humanitarian aid. More than 20 trucks will arrive in Syria under the “Grain from Ukraine” initiative, delivering 500 tons of flour.

“Unfortunately, 2025 will not yet be decisive in the implementation of such a scenario. What I mean is that Europe must unite against the backdrop of such challenges. Mutual congratulations, which have been going on for several years now, are a serious signal that should be taken into account by our Western partners, but I really believe that they will be allies,” Valeriy Klochok stated.
