In Lviv region, you can simultaneously issue an ID-card and a foreign passport/Migration Service of Lviv region
In Ukraine, on May 23, a service for the simultaneous issuance of a passport and an ID card was launched. Already on May 24, such an order was completed in the Lviv region.
9 people managed to use the new service in the Lviv city administration. Another woman tested the innovation in the Drohobych department.
Ukrainians are happy and say that now they can save time. Previously, after all, it was necessary to first obtain an ID-card, and then it was already possible to issue a passport. The whole process took much longer. Now it can be done at the same time.
Grounds for issuing two documents at the same time
- Issuing an ID card for the first time in 14 years;
- issuing or exchanging for a face
- registration or exchange for a person who cannot move independently due to a long-term health disorder and requires urgent treatment abroad. This information must be confirmed by a legally issued medical certificate;
- production of documents due to their loss or change in personal data.
How much does such a service cost
It takes 1,105 hryvnia to produce an ID card and a passport in 20 working days, and 1,583 hryvnia in 7 days.
By the way, if you draw up documents for the first time at the age of 14, then you only need to pay for a passport.
The Lviv Migration Service noted that such a service became possible after the entry into force of the law “On the implementation of a pilot project for the simultaneous issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad.”
Pay attention! For the period of martial law, there may be delays in issuing passport documents.
