Russia wants to sow a split in Ukrainian society. The enemy’s goal is a coup in Ukraine and the overthrow of the government.
President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a conversation with journalists in Kyiv, Bloomberg reports.
The head of state referred to intelligence data – both Ukrainian and data from partners.

“Our intelligence has information that also came from our partners,” Zelensky noted.
According to him, the Russian disinformation plan is code-named Maidan-3. This is a reference to the name of Kyiv's central square, Maidan Nezalezhnosti, which was the center of mass protests by Ukrainians in 2004 and 2014. We are talking about the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity. The latter played a decisive role in overthrowing the regime of pro-Russian ex-president Viktor Yanukovych.
Zelensky emphasized that Moscow is seeking to create “chaos” within our country in order to ultimately eliminate the president.
“Maidan for them (for the Russian Federation, – Ed .) is a coup, so the operation is clear,” Zelensky added.
He also said that Ukraine would not agree to a frozen military conflict.
