Over the past 24 hours, the largest number of battles on the front took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the evening of September 15.

— Since the beginning of this day, there have been 137 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them. The largest number of battles took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions, — the report says.

According to the military, Russian occupiers carried out 56 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, dropping 83 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy used 428 kamikaze drones to destroy the territory and carried out almost 2.8 thousand attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

— Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 46th separate airmobile brigade, the 25th separate Sicheslav airborne brigade Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 151st separate mechanized brigade Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment, the General Staff noted.

Situation on the front in directions

In the Kharkiv directionthe enemy unsuccessfully attempted to storm the positions of our units in the Volchansk area. At the same time, enemy aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation struck with guided aerial bombs at the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kharkov (four KAB) and the settlement of Russkaya Lozovaya (two KAB).

In the Kupyansk direction the enemy carried out offensive actions near Sinkovka, Petrovpavlovka, Kolesnikovka, Glushkovka, Kruglyakovka and Lozovaya. Eighteen battles have been completed, two — are still ongoing.

In the Liman direction Russian invaders stormed the positions of the Defense Forces near Druzhelyubovka, Kovalevka, Tverdokhlebovoye, Nevsky, Makeyevka, Terny and Novosadovoye. Ukrainian defenders stopped all enemy attacks.

In the Seversky directionOur soldiers repelled 12 offensive actions of the occupation forces in the areas of Belogorovka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Vyemka and Ivano-Daryevka. At present, ten combat clashes have been completed, two are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction the enemy stormed our positions near Stupochki and Kurdyumovka. The defense forces stopped all attacks by the invaders.

In the Toretsk direction there were 11 combat clashes. The Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk, Dachnoye, Shcherbinovka and Nelipovka. All attacks by the aggressor have been repelled.

In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 34 times in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Zelenoe Pole, Novotoretsk, Grodovka, Novogrodovka, and Marinovka. Our defenders have repelled 31 assaults, three clashes are still ongoing.

— Today, 230 occupiers were neutralized in this direction, 89 of them — irrevocably. A repeater and three vehicles were also destroyed, — noted the military.

In the Kurakhovskoye direction the enemy also made 34 attempts to break through our defenses near Zhelannoye Vtoroye, Ukrainskoye, Selidovo, Dolinovka, Georgievka, Katerinovka and Konstantinovka. Twenty-seven combat clashes have been completed, and seven more are still ongoing.

In the Vremovskoye direction the enemy attempted eight times to displace our units from the defensive lines they occupied near Vodyanoye, Katerinovka and Makarovka. There are still five attacks by the occupiers ongoing.

In the Dnieper direction The Ukrainian Defense Forces have stopped eight attempts to attack our positions.

In other directions — without any significant changes.
