Over the course of six months, 397 fundraisers for the needs of the country’s Defense Forces were held in the Starlight Меіа slots of the national telethon “Unity of News”. As of today, based on the results of 375 campaigns, it was possible to collect 90 million 579 thousand 381 UAH.
The collections were announced during the Fakty conversation studios with invited guests, as well as in the stories of the Vikna-noviny and Fakty ICTV correspondents.
In June, 64 collections were held, as a result of which Ukrainians donated 9 million 178 thousand 955 UAH to support the Ukrainian military.

What will the audience donate the most to
Most often in the Starlight Meіа slots on the air Facts ICTV viewers support targeted funds for the most important and most pressing needs of the military: FPV drones, electronic warfare, night vision devices and repairs/purchases of vehicles for units of the Defense Forces. Another popular area for donations is prosthetic limbs for wounded Ukrainian defenders.
In just six months, February was the most productive in terms of the amount of funds raised: the amount of donations on the Facts broadcast in the marathon slot amounted to almost a third of the total collections — 28.1 million UAH.
Another record was set in May: based on the results of 79 out of 80 campaigns held, viewers donated almost 14.5 million UAH for the needs of the country's Defense Forces.
On average, about 1 million UAH are collected on air for one 6-hour slot.
As you know, during the period of a full-scale war, all producers of the United News telethon implemented dozens of large-scale fundraising campaigns for the needs of Ukrainian defenders and other social missions. This is an integral part of the functioning of the marathon.
