In one day, police officers eliminated almost fifty schemes of illegal border crossing by men of draft age in 22 regions of the country.

Illegal transportation of conscripts abroad
A total of 600 searches were conducted on the territory of Ukraine and more than 60 suspicions were announced to the organizers and participants for the illegal transfer of persons across the state border.

As noted by the National Police, among the identified transactions — transfer outside checkpoints, forgery of health documents, fictitious entries in the Shlyakh information system, and the like.
The defendants in the case are the heads of hospitals of various levels, officials of the TCC, MSEC and VVK, as well as civilians.
According to the case materials, they offered conscripts various schemes for crossing the border. One of the most popular proposals was to cross the border outside the checkpoints. That is, — through the forest, on a boat or in a wetsuit on the river, in the trunk of a truck or in women's clothing.
The defendants looked for their clients through acquaintances or closed Telegram channels. Such “services” were valued from $5 to $22 thousand depending on the choice of illegal border crossing.
The criminals laundered the money they received through the purchase of cars and real estate, and in some cases transferred it to offshore accounts.

Lists were seized during the searches persons who were illegally transported outside of Ukraine in 2024, as well as false documents and seals of various government agencies, weapons, black accounting, cash in various currency.
The actions of the defendants are classified under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. The defendants face up to nine years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
Police are identifying others involved in organizing schemes for illegally crossing the state border during the war.
The day before, the National Police reported that searches were being conducted throughout Ukraine as part of a special operation to block the channels for transporting men of draft age abroad.
