Russian invaders continue to commit war crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, in Melitopol, the enemies kidnap men and force them to serve in the Russian armed forces.
This was announced on Channel 24 by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov. He noted that
More than 200 people were kidnapped
During 2 months of occupation, the Russians kidnapped more than 200 people from Melitopol. This trend continues, – said the mayor of the city.
According to him, earlier infidels kidnapped only ATO soldiers, activists and government officials. However, now people are being taken away according to the lists.
Forcing them to serve in the enemy army
Fedorov stressed that 2 weeks ago the Russian military only offered residents temporarily occupied territories to serve in the army of the aggressor country. At the same time, Ukrainians are now being forced to do this.
They steal them from checkpoints and force them to serve in the Russian armed forces,” Fedorov noted.
He also added that there are facts when people tried to go to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, however, at checkpoints, the Russian military did not let men of military age pass.
