Ukraine now needs many important decisions from Europe in an uncertain environment, with the United States dynamically changing its statements on military aid.
This was stated by the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna in an interview with the host of the information telethon Edinye Novosti Vadym Karpyak.

The journalist asked Olga Stefanishyna whether the Ukrainian side uses the argument in conversations with Europeans that the Russian army could be enriched by the Ukrainian army in the event of our defeat.

– Of course, these arguments exist. In fact, they are conveyed at all levels of negotiations – from the highest political to discussions with specific European commissioners. There are many initiatives and programs, there are budgets and financial instruments, – she explained.
According to Stefanishina, all this in the long term, for example, 50 years, will have a decisive effect, which will lead to Europe gaining defense or its own sovereignty, that is, it will become a strategic compass in the conditions of an uncertain world.
But Ukraine needs many important decisions now, she is convinced. In particular, we need confidence that in conditions when the US makes only statements about military aid, there are quick decisions that can save the lives of Ukrainians.
— Because you, and I, and many of our friends are experiencing these nights in Kyiv, all over Ukraine, when our cities are continuously destroyed by missiles from 12 midnight to 5 am. This is in conditions when we hear statements that can change very often from the American administration, — she noted.
In her opinion, there is a vision from Europe now, but its implementation should be much faster. Again, Ukraine's security is Europe's security, Olga Stefanishyna summed up.
