In Russia, presidential elections are being held from March 15 to 17, which, however, are not famous for the large number of candidates. Therefore, new, but very familiar names appear on the ballot from time to time.

So, sources 24 Channel , in Russia they continue to vote for the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov. His name now appears on the same form as Putin and his fake “opponents”.

Channel 24 sources shared an exclusive photo from a voting booth in Russia during voting for the president. Thus, next to the candidates for the post of head of Russia, a position that Vladimir Putin will apparently again occupy, the name of the chief intelligence officer of Ukraine appeared. They put their “tick” on this bulletin for Kirill Budanov.

Next to the name of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate there is the inscription GUR and “Artan”. Thus, the Kremlin was once again reminded that Ukrainian eyes are everywhere – even on Russian territory.

Division ” Artan”

Special unit “Artan” is a special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The fighters who are part of Artan carry out various operations both in occupied territories and behind enemy lines – that is, in Russia. Their tasks are working with railway infrastructure, power lines, warehouses, collecting information and other operations.

What is happening in the elections in Russia

  • Russian citizens are actively spoiling ballots in the presidential elections. In particular, they put anti-war slogans on forms – like “no to war”, or write that Vladimir Putin is a murderer, criminal and psychopath. The names of other candidates were also entered on the forms.
  • Also, at noon on March 17, Russia recorded more than 70 cases of detention of citizens who decided to vote at 12:00. The police thus decided to liquidate all attempts to hold the “Noon Against Putin” protest. In one of the polling stations in Kazan, young people were told to return in an hour or two.
  • In addition, other attempts to sabotage the electoral process are being recorded across Russia. For example, voters fill ballot papers with green paint or set fire to ballot boxes. For example, ballots are brought to the grave of Alexei Navalny. They contain the politician's last name
