Orban will continue to create problems: what other obstacles may arise on Ukraine’s path to the EU

On Thursday, December 14, a historic decision was made at the EU summit. The European Council will begin negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the European Union.

This decision showed that no matter what obstacles Hungary creates, Ukraine together with its partners will achieve results, political scientist Vladimir Fesenko told Channel 24. As is known, Viktor Orban, who opposed the opening of negotiations, left the hall during the voting.

However, the Hungarian Prime Minister will continue to obstruct Ukraine.

Orban can create problems in the process of Ukraine’s integration not only into the EU, but also into NATO, Fesenko stated.

We must understand that on its way to the EU, Ukraine will acquire numerous competitors. We are not even talking about specific countries, but about manufacturers of certain products in any industry.
