Russia cynically hit Okhmatdyt in Kyiv on July 8. The head of the Hungarian government, more than 24 hours later, commented for the first time on the invaders’ attack on a children’s hospital in the capital.

He wrote his comment on the social network X (formerly Twitter) on the evening of July 9. However, words of sympathy cannot be read there.

Orban commented on the blow to Okhmatdyt

< p>Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, after more than a whole day, for the first time commented on the attack by Russian invaders on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.

There was no space in Orban's tweet in order to express words of condolences to those killed and injured as a result of the missile attack. In addition, he also did not mention a word that Russia was behind this cynical attack.

The Hungarian politician only spoke about the “tragic and terrible terrorist attack in Kyiv”, which , according to him, proves that “the brutality of the Russian-Ukrainian war has reached a new level.”

That is why 9 days ago we started peacekeeping mission. The increasing intensity of the war is a call for world powers to abandon the policy of war and instead create a policy of peace that would encourage Russia and Ukraine to ceasefire and peace negotiations, he added.
